In hindsight, the last Drop Bass party was also the last show I did as myself, and the ultimate cosmic irony. At the time, the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) was trying to shut down rave parties because of alleged unsafe drug use; yet, I am performing at a party suffering from Ciprofloxacin, an unsafe medication that is doing permanent DNA damage to my body. For me, this is the ultimate cosmic irony. The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) is working so hard to protect us from illegal drugs; yet, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is not doing anything to protect us from legal drugs. This is more than an irony, it is the ultimate cosmic failure of my life. After this show, I was no longer to write, draw, and perform like I used to. So sad : ( |
