life-changing prescription drug reaction

video: . high . med . low

This is a video of Bob Grozier's fluoroquinolone drug reaction. It is the same drug reaction I had. Bob does not blackout at the end, I did. Then, I had a near-death experience. It was no fun at all, as Wesley Willis would say, it was a "nerve-shattering hell ride." This drug almost killed me.

Saturday, January 3, 2004, this was the day I was supposed to die. I did die, but I came back, but not all of me. After taking an antibiotic called Cipro in December 2004, my health quickly declined until I had a severe seizure and near-death experience (see video above). It's as if someone fired a shotgun filled with microscopic buckshot at me, taking out out millions of tiny holes in my body. I am still dead in a way, I exist with the dead part of my body/consciousness waiting for the live part to die, equalizing all life energy to zero.

WARNING: Antibiotic fluoroquinolones (or quinolones) can cause severe nerve and tendon damage. A fluoroquinolone reaction or "floxing" (like flogging) attacks the central nervous system and is worse than a thousand bad LSD trips, worse than a thousand heroin withdrawals. Fluoroquinolones function by doing DNA damage to bacteria, I strongly suspect they have done DNA damage to my central nervous system and tendons.

Bob Grozier (in the video above) and his daughter. Not an artist or writer, Bob is an unlikely hero to me. Bob is the first fluoroquinolone victim to stand up to the media and tell his story. Bob also runs fqvictiums.org, a website that provides information to quinolone victims. I was on fluoroquinolones for ten days and it wrecked my life. Bob was on fluoroquinolones for two months, his pain and suffering is fathomable to me.
