Summer-face
She had that three-hundred-and-sixty-five day-a-year, all-terrain all-season summer-face. An Amaterasu sun-diving diva cosmic Shivawith third-eye love-ray circular-saw blades blazing & serrating even the most foggy, smoggy, and soggy days…rays radiating & sedating my satiation for sunshine.

The girl who worked as a cashier in my local grocery store had a charmingly red face. It looked like she had permanent sunburn even in the middle of winter, kind of like all-weather four wheel drive sunshine. Amaterasu is the sun goddess of Japanese mythology. Her full name, Amaterasu-o-mi-kami, means "glorious goddess who shines in the heavens."
