sad puppy-eyed learning disabled dyslexic daydreamer

The young "Teddy" in 3rd grade. I was a sad puppy-eyed learning-disabled dyslexic daydreamer.

As the young "Teddy," I had learning difficulties at an early age, and had great difficulty learning to read. In elementary school, although I was moved forward to the next grade each year, I remained on the kindergarten reading level until 4th grade.

Unable to read or do schoolwork in class, the young Teddy began to daydream. My classrooms were noisy and crowded. I was quiet and shy, I didn't want to be there. I would look out the window away from my schoolwork, and my mind would just drift away. It was so easy. My daydreaming problem continued for years and is well documented in my report cards below.
